“We had an excellent time with our guide Gimhana. Compared to another safari we did in Wilpattu, our experience was so much more relaxed. We did the four hour safari and Gimhana was excellent at pointing out different animal species, and getting into good positions for photos while being respectful of the animals’ space. We found him very considerate; making sure we were ready to move on from a stop before going etc. We also saw lots and lots of elephants, which all seemed very happy to get close up to the jeep!”

“Our guide showed up on time but didn’t know what he was doing. Did not have water bottles as advertised and wasn’t even planning on returning us to our hotel! Guide blamed his friend that asked him to cover for him the night before. I would not use this tour operator.”

Didn’t see much - one elephant in the distance, a few peacocks, deer and a water buffalo - all over 10 hours in a bumpy jeep. 5 hours would have been enough to see nothing.”
